Ink spills with ease from out the poet’s pen.
A truth - poured from the mind to make you whole.
The words arise from deep within the glen,
They rise from out the burn that stirs your soul.
Through rocky beds the strength of water grows
Like words, that give you space enough to breathe.
With gentleness, the water bends and flows.
By nature’s healing, tangled thoughts unweave.
The burn will wander far away from source,
A winding stream that bends past stone and thorn.
And like the water - Ink - will find its course.
To soothe the soul, where broken hearts are torn.
In time, the water’s words and truth will link.
